Brenda got a bicycle for Christmas. She did a great job getting around the block. It took she about a quarter of the way arounf the block to get the hang of pedaling, but then she really took off.
Brenda Rides The Bike She Got For Christmas
I tried to add video of Brenda goin around the block, but am having problems getting it to post. If you know how to get Word press to post videos please inform me.
Brenda recently turn four years old. She had quit a few little parties.
One at school. There they had cupcakes and The Fun Bus showed up and all the kids in her class played inside it.
This is a description from the Fun Bus Website. ”The Fun Bus is a full sized school bus whose seats have all been removed and walls and floor carpeted and padded. The Fun Bus philosophy is to enhance learning going on inside the classroom and home, using a hands-on approach to FITNESS and making it FUN”.
Brenda had a second party at her mother’s house. I don’t have many of the details from it but i know she got a Disney Princess Bicycle. I think it is like the one below. You can also find it at Brenda’s Friends Amazon Store here under bicycles.
Then on Monday of this last week my family and me had a birthday celebration for Brenda too. She got all kinds of great presents including clothes, Littlest Pet Shops, Webkinz’s mom and baby frog set, and jewelry made by her Grandma. Jan’s Jewelry Creation is my moms company and she make great jewelry for kids. I will display some on the site soon

Hi to all of Brenda’s Friends and Happy Halloween. Here is another of our favorite coloring pages. This one is really fun to do.
Mr. Bones
Brenda had a lot of fun coloring and them pasteing Mr. Bones together. In fact I colored cut and pasted one too. We hung both in the window for Halloween.
This is Brenda at Temple. It was probly around Chanukah. I just came acrossed it decided to post it. She is dressed/ geared up like a Maccabee warrior.
Brenda as a Maccabee
Maccabees were a family that lived around 170-160 B.C. that resisted the Syrian dictator Anitochus as he took over the Jewish temple in 171-164 B.C.
The Maccabees with their father Mattitias gathered a small army to fight against the Syrians who were occupying the Temple. Mattatias with his five sons Judah, John, Simon, Eliazer, and Jonathan began to fight.
When Mattatias fell ill and died, the leadership went to his son Judah who then led the army. Maccabeus meant “the hammerer.” In the days of Rebellion Judas recieved this name maccabee. Judah as their leader led an unskilled commando army of only a few thousand. The Jews fought in the hills and defeated 20,000 Syrians. News of the defeat preceded them so when they came to the temple it left empty. They cleansed the Temple and rededicated it, they made a new menorah and restored it to its proper use.
Judah Maccabee became a popular hero, a symbol of religious freedom and Israel’s national liberation. The hero of Hanukkah is considered a symbol of a military victory over great odds.
I was getting a tire patch the other day. I happened to have my camera. To pass the time we had a little fun taking pictures. Very little. Brenda posed maybe 30 seconds. Only got two pictures. Anyhow this one is pretty cute.
From time to time, we ask Brenda what she would like to be when she grows up. One of her common responses is that she wants to be a nurse, like her mom. Brenda’s summer camp asked her to dress up like what she wants to be when she grows up. I thought a nurse would be a good choice.
I didn’t have any of her mothers things or even Brenda’s toy doctor kit so I had to be creative. Here is what I was able to do with construction paper.
Easter is one of my favorite holidays. It is always so cheerful and sunny. It has been bothering me that I never posted pictures of Brenda’s Easter. Brenda really seemed to have fun all that week.
She had a great time at school the week of Easter. Here she is after the school’s Easter egg hunt.

Here is Brenda on Easter Day. Isn’t she cute in her bunny ears.
Brenda and I had more fun with food. This time we had number’s and letter’s to play with. I couldn’t find a number four so I made one from an “F” and a bite of something else. I used a letter “P” upsidedown to make letter “D”’s. This was really tasty to make. We used Chef Boyardee ABC’s and 123’s.
